Analysis Of Peer Group Support and the Learning Environment with Learning Motivation for Nursing Students

Learning motivation is a driving force from within person to carry out activities including learning in achieving achievement. Motivation learn can be seen the results of exams and even everyday phenomena such as studying only during exams, being sleepy while studying, working together exams. If that not increased instilled oneself, it lead degradation enthusiasm, loss enthusiasm for learning. The purpose this study was analyze relationship between peer group support environment with nursing students. research design used correlation cross sectional approach. population sample were 93 people using total sampling technique. Data collection done directly questionnaire. Based on study, average found 60.67, standard deviation 6.611, min-max value 37-77, estimate interval 59.31-62.03. mean 42.04, 4.147, 31-35, estimates 41.18-42.90. an 67.55, 6.470, 52-80, 66.22-68.88. Pearson product moment statistical test p-values ​​of 0.001 0.007, respectively. positive 0.346 0.279, This means there significant higher environment, greater score motivation. It hoped STIKes Santa Elisabeth Medan will continue improve groups comfortable infrastructure, away noise increasing student learn.
